- The USB C USB C charging cable failed, but prior to this it was an above average phone.
I've had the phone since September 2023. It is heavy and very sturdy which I don't mind. When you swipe to the left you can't go past the halfway part of the screen or it will take you back to a previous screen. When you have reduced size windows on your screen you have to tap on the very top of the screen to get back to your home screen, otherwise you'll just open the current reduced size window/app.
This past morning the battery failed to charge. When the charger was plugged into a power outlet and connected via USB cable to to the Fossibot F102, the Fossibot F102 kept charging to 1% but never went past 1%.
I sent a request to support@fossibot on 2/6/24 describing the problem and requesting a repair or replacement of the phone under the 24 month warranty.
I received an email response from support on 2/6/24 that I had to retrieve from my spam folder. After a number of corresponding emails I troubleshot the phone and discovered that my USB C USB C charging cable had failed. I was able to charge the Fossibot F102 using my other charger. When I connected a new USB C USB C charging cable to my Fossibot F102 charger I was able to charge another phone with this pairing with no issue.
Thankfully the Fossibot F102 is serving me well. The Fossibot F102 USB C USB C charging cable failed after about 4 months of use.- 7.1

It has an excellent battery and a very powerful flash, the cameras are not its strong suit except for the night vision, quite heavy and I have had it for 7 months and the microphone has already failed, the battery lasts up to 3 days, the screen suffers a lot in the sun Wireless charging and 5g would be ideal
Pros- Battery
Cons- Screen

It is clear that this device is not for everyone due to the weight (495g) but otherwise it is reliable, with an exceptional battery, an impressive flashlight and you can also get excellent shots, especially selfies, taking into account that it is rugged. The underwater mode is also excellent, I really enjoyed filming underwater. Recommended for those who are not afraid of its weight and size.
Pros- Underwater mode
- Drums
- Cameras (especially selfies)
- Daily use
- Connectivity
Cons- Weight (but we knew)
- Wireless charging
- Updates? (In 6 months only 1)

Score
- 5.8 Design & Materials
- 7.0 Performance & Hardware
- 7.0 Camera
- 7.5 Connectivity
- 9.6 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
