- A great device with a stunning camera, display and sound
I really appreciate that Huawei is struggling to stay on the market with their devices, and it amazes me that it keeps itself in the top 5. This Mate 50 Pro is a good device, from almost all points of view. It has a great display, it sounds very loud in any conditions, it works excellently and very softly with any application or activity you do. I am addicted to Google-Services for many reasons, but I don't mind that it doesn't run on this device. All Google applications can be used very easily through the integrated browser, which is very well optimized for this. Overall I am very satisfied with the yield and novelties that this device brings.

I bought the Honor 90 two months ago. It reminded me very different Huawei p 40 only that it is a bit bigger. Then I bought the Huawei Pad 11 and what can I say, I was hooked again. I looked for a while and got a brand new model for €600 with 256 GB. The phone works perfectly and I don't think it's a big deal that Google services are missing, except for a few apps that I unfortunately need, which I found elsewhere. The device feels wonderful in the hand and the battery lasts for a day, if not two, depending on how you use it. I hope Huawei doesn't let it get them down and continues to do such good work.
Pros- I haven't been this happy in a long time
- Everything really everything
Cons- Not

I've been a Huawei fan for a long time because the cameras are great (on the Pro models)... Had the P20pro, the P40pro, the P50pro and now the Mate50pro... I used to be a Nokia fan - because of the cameras (N85, N8, 808pureview)... The camera is just great! Google services with Gspace - 98% of the apps that Google needs work there, battery is very good (can't understand some of the criticism)... Sound great, speed more than sufficient. I keep it.

Whoever writes about 15% battery loss per night is all fake. per night loses 1% maximum 2% autonomy per level. by the end of the day, another 30-40% remains. flagship for sure. before that there was a P40 pro, a mate a cut above in all respects.

Score
- 8.2 Design & Materials
- 7.9 Performance & Hardware
- 8.8 Camera
- 6.8 Connectivity
- 6.4 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
