True Flagship device! One of the best camera modules on a smartphone ever! Behind the Mate 40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus.
Takes insane DLR like shots. Great processor and GPU I can play GameCube games and other Android games on very high with a smooth framerate. Only downside would be that it does not support an sd card but it has support for Huawei's own NM card which costs alot more price per GB. At least it supports expanding memory. And the other downside would be its mono speakers they definitely don't sound bad but no where near the level of Mi10s for example. I also love it's size and form factor! It's very nice to hold coming from a bigger and heavier 6.67inch phone.
The absence of a headphone jack does not bother me, i recommend using a USB C DAC dongle that automatically upscales the sound to a higher quality than built in phone DAC's
I recommend this phone very much! Especially these days comparing it to other Chinese manufacturers for the price. This is a real Flagship!!Pros
- Camera Modules
- Comfortable to hold
- Kirin 990 Performance
- 90hz OLED display with 240hz touch sampleling

- Great top quality phone
In this 3 months, I had no problems with this phone, it's nice to hold, extra nice screen, battery last a day and a half. I just needed a bit of time to get used to not have all apps I had in oldphon, but as the time past, all those apps are coming out. Apps that I needed the most were there when I bought the phone.Pros
- xatzitilHuawei P40 ProNorthAmerica · 8GB · 256GB · N0411 months agoThe best phone ever!!!
The best camera, night mode, best video stability, hi quality device, super 90hz screen, hi power smoth processor kirin 990 gives you the best experience, better phone than any other iPhone 11, s10plus, s20plus.
Batery life better of all, take it yesterday!! With Google services or without, there is no problem, you have everything you need in more apps, Amazon apps, app gallery, apk pure, all works perfect!!!!Pros
- The performance is enough, the cameras are top-notch, the screen is beautiful and the 40W charging is very useful
The gesture navigation works really well. The hole notch is non-intrusive. The camera AI is pretty handy, and even then everything can be set manually in Pro mode. The curved display is very beautiful. It drains like 40% a day, so technically it could be used for two days but better safe than sorry. Most of the apps I use are available through Petal Search. Google apps which don't require logging in work too, Google Maps, Translate and Gboard for example.Pros
- OLED display
- 90hz display
- 40W charger included
- pre-applied screen protector
- competitive pricing
- "only" 90Hz
- no pre-installed Google
- Quality made by huawei
It's a very high quality smartphone. The hardware is absolute high level kirin 990,7nm, 8 or 12 GB ram and the screen to body ratio is great.. I also like the edge to edge screen design all around the phone it looks awesome. Now the camera make genius pictures in daylight real colors, pixel binnig works great and generates powerful images. The low-light pictures are good but sometimes they are to overpixeled...Pros
- Display to body ratio
- Night mode
- Speaker only mono

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
