  • Very Basic

It still works with the display broken, and helped me out a lot but I would prefer a better phone if I had known that this was that basic. It suddenly disconnects from mobile network, and I was forced to turn it off and back on again to solve the problem, I had problems to use YouTube it suddenly frozen and I had to turn it off and on, and other times, when I was using my earphones and received a notification from Facebook, the sound started to play in the speaker instead that in my earphones.

  • A very nice update to the old Y6

Bought it cheap and out of contract when a local carrier offered it at 25% off it's original release price, it's a steal! The 18:9 screen display is great for watching videos. At the given price point I got, the hardware performance i.e. CPU, RAM, internal storage, cameras and the battery were average at best but you can get by with them. The dedicated MicroSD slot was a plus for me as most of the current dual sim smartphone in budget ranges would be hybrid dual-sim slots.

    Positives
    • Good 18:9 screen display
    • Decent rear camera for the price
    • Dedicated MicroSD slot
    Negatives
    • Small RAM and internal storage
    • No fast charging support
    • Face unlock is useless in low light

I honestly have no desire to use this phone again.

I have been using the phone for more than a year and I have dropped it several times, one of many and I suppose it had already taken a while is when the screen broke halfway. The battery does not last long with constant use. The performance stops being good after 2 months, it quits applications, it cannot run games at a midpoint of demand without later starting to lock and even crash. The camera is not the best, and the truth could not be expected much from its 13 MP, it focuses well and has good resolution, but not excellent. I feel like the design could have been a little better. I am unsatisfied with this phone.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
