  • This phone is mid. Perfect for gamers, but awful for normal usage.

Well, I've bought this phone 10 months ago and I was excited to see the phone then it updates the software per 6-4 months, bad camera on night, daylight is eh, best on gaming (120fps pubg). after update, battery started draining more it lasts 4 hours if you scroll a reel. Thats what I can say. Also The phone is trying to became iPhone UI. Copying every design from iOS for Infinix.

There is no better value-for-money Gamer option in its segment.

I bought it for around 5000 MXN, which at the time was about $280 USD, approximately 11 months ago. For the price, there's nothing better, or at least there wasn't. Nothing with triggers, which are very important and practically define a phone as a gaming phone in my opinion. Without triggers, it would just be a powerful phone for gaming, etc. The phone came with factory bugs. The camera worked well for about two weeks, but then it stopped focusing with the main lens. While I don't usually use the camera much, it was practically unusable since it was stuck at about 8 cm. Luckily, the latest update fixed it. In the time I've had it, I've received 3 or 4 updates. So far, so good. The only persistent and disappointing bug is that the haptic feedback system doesn't work. The vibration for messages and calls works, but it's poor. And the supposed haptic feedback function for both triggers and vibration in games doesn't exist. It's a real shame because it detracts from the experience. The vibration motor works, but for some software reason, the optical response doesn't. The speakers are "meh." While they offer several EQ modes, their performance isn't outstanding, but they're not bad either. Still, for the price, it's great.
Wireless charging is "meh." Using the official charger that comes in the gamer kit isn't very practical. It charges slowly, and in some cases where the phone is under heavy load, the charge falls short, and the phone discharges more than it charges wirelessly. At least the wireless charger helps cool the phone, albeit poorly. Since it's made of plastic, it doesn't cool the phone down as much. I've dropped it many times, and it's held up, but it's reached its limit. The screen shattered from a drop of about 90cm. The aluminum/plastic frame doesn't withstand impacts. For the price, it's worth it. I was quite critical.

If it's on sale, buy it, it's okay but not amazing

It's awesome, but it gets really hot. Use it with a cooler and it'll be super cool. The battery doesn't last as long as half a day if you play for that whole half day.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
