I hate this phone and don't recommend it to anyone. Why? It has a terrible interface and touchscreen. The touchscreen freezes terribly in games, sometimes even ruining your gameplay. It also freezes when watching videos, though less often. The interface is glitchy, lags, slows down, and takes on a life of its own. There are no updates to fix system bugs. So, when you buy a phone, the best you'll get is a security patch. New versions of Android are out of the question; it's still running Android 13. The hardware is extremely weak. The Helio G88 is a rebranded Helio G85. Weak cores and GPU, and the 12nm process technology is long outdated. Games lag even at low settings, even though it's marketed as a gaming phone. PUBG runs at 60 fps at medium settings only due to optimization. At "High" settings, the fps drops significantly, to 30 fps, with occasional dips. Even light games sometimes lag, like Brawl Stars or Geometry Dash. Battery life is also terrible. The battery degrades quickly, and I only get about 5 hours of use. I have to constantly recharge it.

The design is ugly. It's an acquired taste, but I don't like it at all. The build quality is lousy. The plastic flexes and creaks, the buttons are loose, and the volume rocker has actually stuck once. The back is plastic, not glass as you might think. The camera is also complete garbage. The first few days, it shot like a flagship, and now they've tweaked it as if it were worse than 5 megapixels. The zoom is only 10x, and the image completely falls apart. Noise and grain are visible even when you're not zooming. The second camera is a 0.08 MP dummy camera that only activates when taking portraits. And that's not all the pitfalls. Just the ones I can remember. If you're looking for a phone, save up a little and get any of the reputable brands: Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Honor, Realme, etc. Believe me, you'll save a lot of stress, and it won't be a waste of money. In principle, I don't recommend brands like Tecno, Infinix, and the whole Transsion thing. They often have weak hardware, poor cameras, and inflated prices.
