  • Good phone, but it has a lot of flaws

Slow motion: 720p, 25fps, soundless, slows video 4 times (i.e. shoots at 100 fps). It has awful stereo sound because of the receiver: complete lack of bass and rattling sound.

  • Slim and liight with good audio.

I wanted this phone so I bought the Chinese version when it first came out; I don't think the OS will upgrade OTA. The dealer I bought it from installed Google Play and Google Maps which do upgrade OTA as does the one Google game I play. My main negative is that it came with a weather widget which I cannot uninstall and I have heard that will drain the battery. I am hard of hearing so I like the loud and clear audio output from the stereo speakers. It is thin, small, and light, and the side bezels are very small. Lovely build quality but I don't recommend dropping the phone. One review site was unimpressed with the camera complaining of too much noise and often non optimal white balance, but it's better than any other camera I have had on a phone.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
