  • I knew what to expect for that price, but I didn't think it would fall too far short of my expectations.

I knew the phone was low-end, but I also knew it wasn't completely low-end and had some redeeming qualities. A month has passed, and honestly, there are two things that disappointed me.
Many sites promoted the processor as decent, not for demanding games, but fine for simple tasks. Now explain to me how a Geometry Dash layout level has unstable FPS. I've seen it drop from 120 FPS to a meager 60 or 55 if it's having a bad day. And don't even get me started on the 120Hz; it only works in the gallery.
Secondly, I have to criticize the connectivity. I find it ridiculous that it disconnects from Wi-Fi out of nowhere, just like that, and I have to collect it manually because the darn thing doesn't know how to do it.
I don't know if it's an issue with the Android version (which is Android 14 at the time of writing) and I'm not updating it because I've read in forums that, well, the performance is worse in Android 15.
I hope that improves in the coming months, because the processor does perform well in some tasks and games, but it's a shame that such a light level of GD runs so poorly.I'm confident it's a software issue and poor optimization, but if not, I'll let you know in the coming months. For now, we're off to a bad start.

My personal experience with my Moto G55 5G

I bought it 5 months ago at Alkosto and honestly, it's a complete phone for a mid-range model; it's a great value for the price. It's a good phone with decent performance for everyday use. If you're looking for a Motorola phone with good performance and affordability, this is the option. There are other options, but honestly, it's a good phone. This Moto G55 5G

    Quality price

I think this phone could be a value for money phone, as its features are acceptable for its price range, especially its sound, which I think is its most notable feature. While its processor isn't the most powerful, it's very good for gaming and the occasional demanding game. It's also very fast for social media, and opening apps is also quite fast. The screen leaves something to be desired, but I still think the 120Hz refresh rate makes up for it in everyday use. The cameras are good, and nighttime photography could be improved, but they still deliver.

Quality and performance are very good for a mid-range model.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the features of this terminal... for being a low-mid-range it performs very honorably... the connectivity is perfect... the brightness of the screen is enough to view it in full sunlight... it comes with Android 14 with an announcement of an update to Android 15... the protective case that it comes with in the box is good and fits perfectly.

It is a good phone in every sense for the range that is oriented both by the price and what it offers. Cameras, sound, screen.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
