It's worth it in the middle of 2023

Excellent cell phone in the middle of 2023 and I bought it new in 2017 and it works like the first day, my main phone was damaged a little f2 pro with snapdragon 855 that only lasted 6 months and it has been from fix to fix (really disappointing the little brand ), even so, with the performance, battery, audio, signal coverage of the g5s plus it has been more than up to par, I was thinking of buying another one in the coming months but with the amazing performance and features of this moto g5s plus I have no desire . With how expensive the phones are, I consider this a perfect option that if you find it at the right price, it is very economical and efficient, you will get what you pay for and it will not disappoint.

    Still good phone

Although it was released in mid-2017, it still has good performance, fluidity is its best section even with a Snapdragon 625, You can play games like Minecraft, Geometry Dash, Brawl Stars, etc. and even more demanding ones like CoD or PUBG, but only in average graphics at most, compared to other sections, the display of the screen is correct, good viewing angles, good color reproduction and in general the panel is of quality, the cameras are also good the stock app has many functions , but if you want better results, install GCam, I found the sound great, very fast fingerprint sensor, it is very comfortable in hand, the metal used on the back is scratch resistant, the only bad thing I put is the battery since 3000mAh they fall short in 2021, in addition to the updates since it does not receive security patches, the last one was on August 2019 (and it stayed on Android 8.1)

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
