- Had the oneplus 6 and it was the best phone I had ever used. My iPhone friends ask me to take the group pictures now.
This OnePlus 8 Pro is a huge upgrade for me and it performs as well or better than any other phone I've been hands on with. Only downside is the lack of millimeter 5G which doesn't matter to me because I don't live or go to metro areas. 5GNR seems more practical anyways.
Pros- Great camera
- Great quality
- Premium feel
- Works great on Tmobile 5G
Cons- Doesn't support mm5G (not really a bad thing for me)

I'm on my second OnePlus 8 Pro in just under 3 months.
First phone I had delivered had damage to it from the manufacturing process and also constantly overheated to the point of it being uncomfortable to hold. Had an exchange authorized by my service provider and received a new phone. Within weeks the software started to go a little haywire with problems across several areas. The most disturbing thing is that the handset has started to rattle as if something has come loose inside. It has never been dropped or misused.
I tried to contact OnePlus several times but there customer service is virtually non existent. It takes them weeks to respond sometimes and they've been of no help whatsoever. I feel completely ripped off !!
Do yourself a favour and stay away from these phones unless you want frustration after frustration.
Terrible phone, terrible company !!- 0

View answers - AutoA joy, simply superior, a mobile for several years
I've been chasing a Oneplus phone for several years, I was able to get the 8 Pro on sale and gosh. The phone is amazing, in terms of speed, fluidity, transitions, simply in the details of daily use is where you realize that the SPECTACULAR screen and OXYGEN OS are the perfect marriage. The battery is quite good for the screen it has, and the fast charge is a joy (in 10 minutes you have 35%). It feels like a super top-of-the-range mobile. an experience you also have with sound, which is tremendous (I've stopped using my little JBL speaker and all). The fingerprint and facial unlocking are super fast (if I recommend putting a hydrogel protector from a brand like rhinoshield or dbrand). The cameras are luxurious, so I would like to emphasize that the selfie camera in low light suffers a bit, but if you are not very demanding with the cameras, you will not care. In short, it is a TELEPHONE that will last you for many years, and 100% recommended in 2021.
Pros- 120HZ display
- Top-of-the-range sensors
- Sound
- Oxygen OS operating system
- Fluency and speed
- Very fast facial and finger unlock
Cons- Selfie camera in bad light situations

View answers - AutoGreat smartphone, not battery life
I bought this smartphone (8 Pro with 12Gb + 256Gb of internal memory) for 810 euros (costs of about 6 euros included) on Amazon Spain. The product arrived, as promised, before Christmas. It is spectacular, nothing is missing. The display is a blast .. even if it is curved and does not create any problems. Equally spectacular stereo sound, very beautiful and iridescent color (green). The only drawback, not least, is the battery life. You could certainly do more by putting at least a 6000 mah instead of a normal 4510 mah. Using it frequently enough it barely comes in the evening. Perhaps, after the first euphoria, it will be possible to arrive in the evening without worries ... we'll see. The charger at least charges fast to 100% in under 45 min. It is better to equip yourself with a good powerbank if you decide to buy this smartphone which, it is clear, is currently among the best on the market for features.

Score
- 9.4 Design & Materials
- 8.7 Performance & Hardware
- 9.0 Camera
- 9.0 Connectivity
- 7.7 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
