  • Stable

I bought Oppo A5s from 2019 and used until now, 2025. This is a durable and stable phone in the launch price range. Performance now will not be too strong, everyday for social media services like Tiktok, Facebook,... is still smooth. But the gaming performance is not quite good (just for fun, you cant tryhard on this phone cause the fps is at low, I will show the details of the Roblox game I have experienced:

    • Roblox - Low Settings: 45-50 FPS (Do not have too much FPS drop, only once - twice. FPS maintains stable | The Less detail map runs smoothly like Obbies, Tycoons,...)
    • Roblox - Low Settings: 15-45 (Will occasionally Drop FPS if you go to the map with many details like Blox Fruit, Evade,... But you can actually play for fun)
In particular, when you falling from above, FPS will be extremely interrupted. The graphics will not be good because of the resolution at 720p)

Suitable for the secondary phone, Camera and speaker is okay, weak battery. Not too much demanding for a 6 years old phone.

    Pros
    • Love the phone design
    • Good temperature
    • Camera is still good
    • Support fingerprint
    • Durable, good quality (for 6 years i use)
    • Less has an app crash, screen stripes
    Cons
    • Only display HD+
    • Bad gaming performance
    • Weak battery
    • Hidden image capacity still occupies the space
    • No longer updated
    • GPS is awful on Google Map

  • Overall, the A5s achieves good performance in a low price range.

ColorOS though, takes up I think a quarter of the internal storage so that's a downer. Plus, you will be restricted from moving apps to an sdcard.

    Pros
    • Good Processor
    • High Battery Capacity
    • Decent RAM
    • Has fingerprint scanner
    • Has a headphone jack
    • Loud sound
    Cons
    • HD+ IPS Display
    • ColorOS 5.2
    • No quick charge
    • Not USB Type-C

    Beautiful, comfortable

The phone is good, comfortable, suitable for everyday life, but the only minus is that it cannot be worn without a cover, but it is included in the kit. Games pull well "Pubg mobile", for example, pulls without lags and crashes

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
