  • A tank of a phone, 5g rugged value handset.

Oukitel phone and now a tablet: buyer beware.
Horrible quirks with apps, settings and launchers not often addressed rare software updates, Ouki is not well known for code support or fixing bugs or major launcher deficiencies.
Have tried and tested Oukitel's very impressive hardware for a few years - on paper they're great but software and code issues you need to be patient, use 3rd party launchers and be ready to be stranded on older Android and less useable factory settings - very disappointing so only buy their stuff on deep sale.

    Pros

    • Low cost

    Cons

  • The screen finally cracked after 2 years+ of use and many drops. It hit a rock wall right on the screen bevelled edge.

It was a reliable phone for over 2 years for me, a Handyman who does a lot of dirty work. Disappointing that I have not been able to find a tutorial on how to replace the cracked screen, as I was able to purchase a replacement from AliExpress. I have sent my request to OUKITEL, but so far they seem slow in responding.

    GOOD SMARTPHONE damage ZERO SAV

ZERO SAV I bought the WP10, it is under warranty and I am struggling to be able to repair or replace it. (I have to put on loudspeaker to hear my correspondents during a call) I contacted the OUKITEL official store but it has been walking me for more than 15 days. At first she did not want to understand the breakdown, yet simple, now she asks me to return it to China at my expense and help her pay $ 30 more. I have already bought telephones abroad from DOOGEE for example and I have never encountered this kind of behavior, nor this bad faith. It would be a shame to be forced to use the courts for a simple breakdown.

Good overall, despite a major problem.

Pleasantly surprised on the whole device. For its category, good apn, beautiful screen, reactive fingerprint reader as well as facial recognition. Rugged and beautiful aesthetics. On the other hand, major problem which risks the return to the sender, it lags a maximum, very annoying big slowdowns. Either I wait patiently hoping for an update or I send it back after 6 days.

Sehr schön aber mit vielen Macken

Appearance, as befits an armored car, in a positive sense :) The system works ok so far, but there are minimal pendants when unlocking the tele (in possession of about 2 weeks) Lack of a signaling diode and dedicated accessories such as a case, etc. size, with average use it keeps 2 days, this is also the maximum average result. Lots of non-translated items in the software. Another drawback is the low brightness of the display - I'm already "happy" for a trip to the mountains on a sunny day when I have to use in these conditions like outdoor phone

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
