  • It's a really great smartphone.

With the way I use (lots of YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Chrome, occasional Hill Climb Racing 2, Twitter, and to a lesser extent Facebook), the battery lasts about 3d 21h. But I don't think it's (that much) optimized especially because the screen is not AMOLED 2x.

Screen is not that much scratch-resistant since it's only protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, not 6 or Victus or higher. So far (I got the phone in Jan, 2023 and today is May, 2023), the screen has one or two extremely faint scratch which is very hard to see, but still...

The max brightness of 561.71 cd/m² is definitely more than enough to see indoors, but not quite enough to comfortably see under direct sunlight.

    Pros
    • Great battery
    • Good stable performance
    Cons
    • No optical image stabilization
    • Protected by Gorilla Glass 3, not 6 or higher
    • Not enough brightness for use under direct sunlig

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
