Let me sum it up for you
Kimovil users consider this an excellent phone in its price range, highlighting its good value for money for an entry-level device. They positively rate its design and initial fluidity. However, some express concern about long-term performance and the absence of a charger in the box.
Design & Materials
According to our users, the 90Hz Super AMOLED screen is magnificent, with good quality and brightness. The teardrop notch and lack of protection are its drawbacks.

- A good option for whoever wants a cheap Samsung
The box is almost empty, but for the phone feels quite complete. It's a bit better than what I expected (much better than old cheap Samsung phones). The screen is great, although a little more brightness outdoors would be nice. Audio is loud and clear, but it only has one speaker, and it's easy to cover up. The camera quality is far from good, but it does its job pretty well, the main camerra takes decent photos, the other two take worse photos, but at least they are usable. Not having 5G is not a real problem in my opinion. The bloatware is annoying, some apps can be uninstalled, others only can only be hidden. I don't understand why the phone is sold with two clocks with two alarms (one from Samsung, one from Google), it's confusing for some people. Performance is ok for a basic use, but that's all. The original retail price in Europe was excessive for what it is. It's a balanced phone, but probably not the best option for most people.
Pros- Good battery
- Good screen
- Decent camera for its price
- Audio jack and microSD card slot
- Loud audio
- Samsung ecosystem
Cons- Comes with a lot of pre-installed bloatware
- Expensive for what it is
- A bit slow
- Comes with a cable USB-C to USB-C only
- Only one speaker
- Bezels are a bit too big for 2024

View answers - AutoIt's an ideal phone for everyday use, quite comfortable to use, but with only 4GB of RAM it doesn't demonstrate its full potential.
I recommend buying the 8GB RAM version to see the full potential of the Helio G99.

- Decent Load
- Comfortable for light use
Cons- It contains fragile materials
- Battery Life: Highly Variable

It was a good device when it was released, but the updates ruined it. The system is incredibly slow, and the 4GB of RAM isn't enough. The processor can no longer handle many apps simultaneously and tends to restart frequently. It's not recommended in 2026. Only use it for secondary tasks and basic functions; it's not recommended for gaming.

Honestly, it only started lagging when it started freezing—and when I say freezing, I mean really freezing—so I reset it and just like that, I have a very smooth phone. I'm really surprised that it outperforms a 2020 mid-range phone with a more powerful processor than the A15 4G.

View answers- AutoWell, but only in the short term
It's a good value phone with a decent processor that performs well in everyday use, but after more than a year and a half of moderately demanding use, lag and slowdowns become noticeable, as it's a low-end phone, so I recommend it but not for long-term use.

Score
- 6.2 Design & Materials
- 5.7 Performance & Hardware
- 5.8 Camera
- 6.6 Connectivity
- 6.7 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
