Took me a long time to find the right fone. Considered a 2 gen old Flagship. I considered the Redmi Note 7. But I made the right decision. There is very little difference in power from the RN7 and an old flagship has no updates or security patches.
I had to have OLED. After playing with the s10e I loved its design, single handed flat screen. So the A30 is essentially a very similar design, less powerful CPU, but a bigger screen of the same res 1080p+, the cameras arent as good but the same deal a main camera that is perfectly suitable for instagram etc, a great wide angle, the 5Mp really doesnt show up for web based photos and a fantastic selfie cam at 16Mp. It has just had an update for awesome camera functions like slow motion etc.
The screen is why I bought the phone, it really is great to have an OLED for late night TV binging. Its as good as an SAMOLED.
It has convinced me I will never return to LCD screens. I will probably keep this, it does all it needs to.Pros- Screen, OLED for this price point is crazy value

- Flat screen, no nasty slippery curved edges
- Like a Galaxy s10e, less powerful but 1/5th cost

Today, 2024, I gave this phone to my dad who works as a telephone operator in a taxi service and the ONLY function that the cell phone needs is to RECEIVE A NOTIFICATION WHEN SOMEONE ASKS YOU FOR A TAXI, I can't even ask him for that anymore, my father got angry and It fell to the floor, 1 meter high, EVERYTHING SPLIT, the screen works, just as it fell, that's how it stayed, we don't plan to spend a peso... but as I say, at the time it was a margarine when there was no butter, mommy dear, now a j7 with s23 ultra rom works 10 times better... than telling you samsung, anyway, EXYNOS.
