  • Let down by the camera, the ability to maintain a signal and the lack of 5G coverage by it's sellers.

Was sold this by Vodafone Australia. They said it would fix my coverage issues. Well, it didn't. Coverage was garbage and constant signal dropouts and loss of Wifi Calling. Aside from that, GPS Signal Lost is a common phrase you'll hear time and time again, and it drops signal constantly, meaning a delay when navigating, after I left my building. Not a problem I had with other phones.

5G coverage was nil in major AU cities.

The phone isn't good. It feels OK and looks good, and was responsive and well supported, but I was ready to throw it after dealing with Samsung Bixby for two days, then uninstalled everything, did a factory reset, and tried to install without Bixby with some limited success. Frequently, gooogle assistant just ignored me, and it kept dropping bluetooth as well. Turning on or off my car caused calls to drop out.

Factory reset is impossible BTW unless you agree to Samsung's T&Cs. No choice.

Blurry photos constantly as camera was very poor for the price.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
