The phone has a good design and a good screen, it has good brightness outside and the colors on the screen are quite good. Today the performance falls somewhat short, that added to its scarce 16 GB of storage, which is barely enough for about 15 apps (30 taking it to the limit). Its 2GB of RAM is very fair for today, I am impressed that they still release phones with this amount of RAM (Moto E13) but at the time it must have been a somewhat fluid experience. In its day there could have been a good option to acquire a Galaxy, because at that time the A series was not well known and the S series was out of the budget of many people. Today it falls short for moderately demanding tasks, however it works for the basics and for the occasional light game. The device has Android 9 and One UI 1.1, so it will not have compatibility problems with certain apps and will have a user interface similar to any Galaxy that we would see today. It is impossible to get a new one today in 2024, however you can find it second-hand at very low prices ~US$20.

It may be an option if you want to buy a J series device today, however other good options may be the J6+ or the J4, phones that came out in 2018 and were updated to Android 10 and One UI 2.0. It must be taken into account that they are no longer devices suitable for daily use and that their use is purely for collecting purposes.
