Mid-range from 6 years ago, but not now.

The phone has a good design and a good screen, it has good brightness outside and the colors on the screen are quite good. Today the performance falls somewhat short, that added to its scarce 16 GB of storage, which is barely enough for about 15 apps (30 taking it to the limit). Its 2GB of RAM is very fair for today, I am impressed that they still release phones with this amount of RAM (Moto E13) but at the time it must have been a somewhat fluid experience. I don't have many complaints about the cameras, it's a phone that's more than half a decade old, and it seems to me that they have aged somewhat well (it also depends on the photographer). A fairly weak point is the battery, which despite being 3000 mAh, something quite decent for the time, discharges quite quickly due to the low energy efficiency of the Exynos processor it carries. In its day there could have been a good option to acquire a Galaxy, because at that time the A series was not well known and the S series was out of the budget of many people. Today it falls short for moderately demanding tasks, however it works for the basics and for the occasional light game. The device has Android 9 and One UI 1.1, so it will not have compatibility problems with certain apps and will have a user interface similar to any Galaxy that we would see today. It is impossible to get a new one today in 2024, however you can find it second-hand at very low prices ~US$20.

It may be an option if you want to buy a J series device today, however other good options may be the J6+ or the J4, phones that came out in 2018 and were updated to Android 10 and One UI 2.0. It must be taken into account that they are no longer devices suitable for daily use and that their use is purely for collecting purposes.

    very bad phone

It was my previous phone and I didn't have a good experience: Low battery, low life and very slow charging: The battery life was 4 years (from when I bought it until it started to fail) I know it seems normal, but the battery life decreased with only the passing of weeks. Its duration was very short, luckily it arrived at noon and its load... I understand that for the year it came out it was not so bad but it took a long time just to reach 30% or 50% (1 or 2 hours ) No performance: it literally didn't work, that is, it took a long time to open apps, download them and even when it turned on it took a long time. It was very difficult for him to walk, just by opening clash royale (a game that does not have high requirements) a message came out saying that the One UI was not working correctly giving the options to wait or force close. In my opinion the biggest problem is memory, having 16gb of storage, the operating system consumes 12gb. It seems funny but when it is restarted from the factory or turned on for the first time, you can see that over the hours the operating system begins to eat little by little, starting with 8GB and ending with 12GB.

    Good in its time (2018)

It was one of my first phones, it was beautiful in design and compared to my 1st phone, it was better in everything (but it was slow in the background) I did not have strong demands regarding games so in those years the phone was good in power for me (Although now that's nothing) In storage it was regular, almost every time I used it it had full memory and I had to go around deleting apps and useful files usually. In the time that I had it (2018 until the end of 2019) I did not have many problems with it with exceptions such as overheating and others. I did not have a bad experience. Of course, they DO NOT BUY IT CURRENTLY the phone is already a real garbage (although in its time it was also low-end) and it is not worth buying it now.

Decent mobile for average user (use networks and multimedia)

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
