A true modern rugged phone that carries the legacy of removable battery with full IP rating.

As this is a phone meant to be tumbled around without breaking into pieces, the build quality is awesome. It's very heavy though with its removable 4,350mAh battery. Its teardrop notch display isn't exactly great in my own opinion, but the 120Hz refresh rate, adequate peak brightness and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 inside proves that an industrial-type phone can not suck.

Its camera quality are also a surprise. I even find myself grabbing it instinctively because its camera is just that good. 6/128GB configuration is alright—after all, I won't game on it. But in case I will, it can handle it. No headphone jack though, which I may be asking too much; but if Samsung can go full rugged, why not include the thing?

Software-wise, it runs the latest OneUI software with plenty of Samsung goodness, and a handful of carrier bloatware, which can be uninstalled. The charging speed are okay, not fast, but you aren't going to use it all the time, right?

Anyway, with its seven years of updates, the XCover 7 Pro ensures to be my companion for that long of a time as well.
