If you have it, don't change it: you have a lot of NEX S ahead of you

This mobile has many years of life left. Its processor is still superior to that of any mid-high-end SnapDragon, even the 778. It would stay between it and the MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Its screen has good brightness and very good colors and it is one of the few that you will enjoy without notches, frames or holes in between, because your next phone will no longer have a pop up selfie camera. But will the pop up camera break? Not at all. I have this Vivo for two years and the mechanism works like the first day. What has aged badly has been the software. It is a very fluid interface, it shows that the animations are well finished and using it is pleasant, but it has stayed in Android 10 forever. Honestly, if you have it with Android 9, I recommend keeping that version in case you want to use the Jovi assistant. With A10, it was replaced by Google Lens and Jovi offered more options, and its translator was great. Google Lens is more limited. If you don't mind the wizard, then it is much more recommended that you update your Android version. You will like the camera if you do not have many pretensions. It's fine, but it wasn't at the level of a flagship in its time, and now it would be compared to that of a Redmi Note 10 Pro or a Realme GT Neo 2: you'll take generally good photos, but lack HDR and with somewhat saturated colors, and you will record decent videos, with regular stabilization and less fluidity than those that a high-end can record. In general, the Vivo NEX S is a beautiful smartphone that will fulfill you in everything and will continue to make you fall in love in some sections. You will not feel that you have been left behind with it, but you will see it as a modern and powerful phone.

    Great experience

Device surprises, with almost all screen, fluid system, does not lock, runs everything you have in the Play Store quietly, yes it has great cameras (front and rear), they are not the best on the market, but honestly not far behind, battery it lasts all day, and we are talking about a 6.59 "superamoled screen, great even today for those looking for a smartphone of excellence, without being stolen in prices. (Note: after updating, the digital on the screen was very fast. )

Ki Cost-effective
Score
Not available
What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
