- An exellent device compared to others with same price
Unstable cellular connection, lost connection on SIM card frequenty, very unpleasant exp. Overall performance really good since it has snap 855 and 6gb of ram. The design quite good, having right corner cameras setup so you can hold it like a real camera, but the camera chunk rise so high, even a cover can't cover it. The UI works smooth, although sometimes it's a bit buggy but yeah.. it's Xiaomi specialty, be with it :v

The design is so sleek. The battery is pretty ok since the Snapdragon 855 is a very power-efficient chip to start with. The power usage to performance ratio is so high. The cameras are top notch, though Xiaomi's software for noght mode could be improved. Gcam helps me with that. Video quality, especially the stabilization is the best. You can never be wrong in getting this phone. It's a steal. It's a BEAST!

This is a good phone for the price i paid to it based on hardware.
But it's not a durable phone, it has heating issues when using camera app it's as if you're playing demanding games .
Camera quality degraded fast.
MIUI skin isn't smooth it's too heavy.
Screen doesn't support HDR in Netflix.
Slow security updates.
Too many bugs and crashes or inconvenience in the system apps. especially with the launcher.

i have phone and laptop shop and i tested more than500devices in18years,i had many great phones but i never test xiaomi phones and mi9been first xiaomi that i had use for7months, processor is very fast and in about5seconds it will be on,camera is great when you have use48mp mode or in pro situation you can use wide or telephoto or ultra wide situation, but for 960frame in video mode i think xiaomi could change time to1min not just9seconds,in sun LCD has very good light, speaker has very good and fresh voice, read and write data from or on internal storage is very fast, front camera has great quality, finger sensor and face detection work amazing,my phone dropd many times from 1meter hight or more but it worked without little problem,i think it has2problems i said one of them and the other,if had mini port usb, been better than type_c,mi9work amazing with heavy games that need powerful processor or graphic card,mi9has low temperature when you use asphalt or the other heavy games,i love mi9

Score
- 8.4 Design & Materials
- 8.1 Performance & Hardware
- 7.9 Camera
- 7.9 Connectivity
- 5.3 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
