  • Overall its good but after playing the heavy Genshin Impact, battery health deteriorated

    Bought around February 2018
Played the game around Oct 2020, uninstalled on the same month.
The game overheated the phone :( but even after uninstalling battery didnt improve.
In 4 hours battery now depletes almost 50%

  • Very good and cheap Xiaomi phone

I bought this phone about 1.5 years ago and it's still working great for me to this day. It's still receiving monthly security updates and has been updated to Android 9. The hardware, despite being 2 years old, is still running pretty well and handles almost all tasks needed. In a nutshell, this phone won't blow you away with new fancy features, but it's still a very solid phone. The camera quality is also great, especially if paired with the custom Google Camera port. In addition to that, this device is also pretty popular and is getting a lot of third-party support with things like custom ROMs, which helps prolong the lifecycle. However, in 2019, there are certainly better devices for the price.

    Pros
    • Fairly powerful
    • Android One/no bloatware
    • Build quality
    • Daylight photo quality
    • USB-C
    • A lot of community support
    Cons
    • No fast charging
    • Screen-to-body ratio
    • No NFC
    • Average battery
    • 8.1
    • Screen7.0

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
