  • An Absolutely Fantastic Smartphone!

The Redmi K30 Ultra is probably one of my favorite phones I have ever bought. I had somewhat normal expectations at first, I thought the camera would be O.K., the performance to be pretty good, and the display to be fine. However, after using this phone for a week now, I am extremely impressed, and has exceeded my expectations by so much! First of all, the camera. The camera is absolutely fantastic, it performs really well, and comparing it to my previous phone, the OnePlus 7 Pro, it is definitely better in many ways. The dynamic range on the cameras are fairly good, and better than the OnePlus 7 Pro, the colors are nice and fairly saturated but not over the top, and the detail is satisfactory. Another thing I want to mention is performance, it also exceeded my expectations, and the UI is smooth. Lastly, the display is AMAZING. 1200 nits max brightness and a 120Hz is an amazing combination!

Overall, if you get the K30 Ultra, you will not be disappointed and will exceed expectations

Undoubtedly one of the best value for money

The design is very beautiful, I use it without protection, although it is somewhat delicate, a case is recommended. The screen is one of its main qualities, good resolution, sufficient brightness, fairly fast footprint and good screen size. In general, almost everything works correctly, performance, battery, screen, sound, cameras, although in this section there are many qualities and a strong one is its stabilization in 4k, very good video in the day, because at night, it is bad, and camera Selfie, is its most obvious weakness, during the day it behaves well in photo and video, although here there is no stabilization, but at night it is quite bad, both in photo and video, perhaps it is the most deficient of all the equipment. mention that effectively Google services can be installed but I have had many problems with notifications, most of them fail The calculator started by itself, which was very annoying, so much so that I ended up uninstalling and installing another

    Great phone

Great phone! He works out his money (and even a little more) with a bang! A very beautiful and powerful phone. Inside there is a flagship chipset from Mediatek, which will delight you with all games at ultra graphics settings and 120 FPS (if they are of course supported by the game itself). The stereo sound is great, and so is the camera. I like the premium materials of the casing, the phone is beautiful, but it is not very easy to hold it in one hand (due to its considerable weight). I bought it in China, on Aliexpress, at a price of $ 330 with coupons, although the phone went to me in Ukraine for a very long time. I have not tested the connection yet, but Wi-Fi catches perfectly. If the phone is at such a price, you will not regret taking it. There are almost no downsides - there is only an inconvenience in the form of only English and Chinese on board, but this is not a problem for me. There were no Google services from the box, but they easily rolled onto this device. During the week of operation, 3 updates have already arrived (two medium, and one large-scale, 2.5 GB). Nice smartphone.

    Masterly

It is an impressive phone in every way, it does not falter in games or demanding tasks, the screen looks incredible and the 120Hz gives it an impressive fluidity, the battery is enough to last the day with normal use at 120Hz but if you switch it to 60Hz can last you longer if you are going to demand it in games. As for Google services, there was no problem either, I could install them easily and now it works as if it were a global version, that is, it only has English and Chinese but there is no problem because some games and applications allow you to change their language. In the aspect of the Chinese MIUI there are no problems either, it is very safe, it asks for your permission for everything and it also brings more functions than the global version. Undoubtedly a very good phone but very scarce and complicated to get, I got it on sale for $ 349, there was simply nothing better for that price.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
