For me, the best mid-range that I can have in 2024

I'm going to start with the limitations that this phone has: it has a 120hz screen that if you activate it is very well accompanied by this processor (SD888), which is very good, it is only surpassed by the 7Gen2 and the 8200 from MTK, the problem is that if you activate 120hz, you will eat up the battery in a short time (approximately 4:30 of screen time) using only data. If you use 60 Hz they can give you 6 to 7 hours of screen time, which is standard, so you'll watch. Another thing I should mention is that the phone gets very hot when you play games or are recording video for more than 40 minutes, so it is something that I had been told about its processor. The correct selfies are at the level of an S21 but not an S22, just to tell you that the Samsung A54 takes better selfies. The night cameras are at the level of a $300 mid-range. Good things: -Samsung's updates are great: it already has Android 14 under oneUI 6, and I'm still guaranteed two more years. So this seems great to me, plus every month I receive the act. Of security. -It runs very smoothly, since I have the Snapdragon version and I love it, it is a high-end from 2 years ago. -The main camera is very good, on par with the Samsung A54 and I am happy with that. -I am loving the telephoto, it is correct but having it is a useful addition for me. -The video is very good, especially because of the stabilization, in detail it is correct. I am delighted with the phone but if I can I hope to change it in 4 months for a Pixel 7A or Samsung S22+ with Snapdragon version if they arrive in Colombia. Although I would push for the S22+ because I use the telephoto a lot.

        Pros
        • POWER(Snapdragon 888)
        • Main and telephoto camera
        • The video stabilizes very well
        • Updates (two more years left)
        • Very good screen
        Cons
        • The battery lasts little at 120Hz
        • Night photography is correct for a medium range
        • The selfie is correct

It is a passing phone, it has problems in some sections.

I bought this phone second hand because the g8 power had problems with the touch. What can I say? The phone has a good screen in brightness and definition, its audio is good in quality but it lacks more volume. As for the proximity sensor, for calls I have not had problems, but to listen to WhatsApp audios it is slow to identify that you have it close to your ear. Performance is good, but it has bugs with the YouTube and VLC application, I also had problems with Whatsapp, I think it's more because of MIUI 13.08. In games I don't know how it goes, nor am I interested, I don't usually play. As for cameras, it seems bad to me, the selfie lacks sharpness, and the main one does not have a good dynamic range, I also feel that when there is a lot of light it usually comes out blurred, as if the lens were fogged, the wide angle more of the same with worst quality. I have tried to download the Gcam, but I did not test it much. As for battery, the application says that with my use (I use it all the time with data) it gives for more than 4 hours to 5 hours of screen time, that is, it arrives at 5 in the afternoon with 20% battery.

        Pros
        • Amoled screen despite no HRR
        • fast charge
        • Drums
        Cons
        • cameras
        • MIUI desperately needs optimization

Sound and video recording is the best thing about this phone.

Design: Despite being made of plastic, it feels somewhat robust and resistant, I love that blue blur .. red is so beautiful. Performance: The phone complies in terms of multitasking, there are some delays but they are somewhat slight, nothing worrying, in terms of games, this phone is not the one for powerful games. Battery: In general, with intensive use in the street pulling data, it usually lasts between 4:30 a.m. to 5:20 p.m., highlighting that I live in Latin America and most of the time they are hot days; By pulling WiFi, you can extend it for more than two hours (7h). Camera: I really use the Gcam, I've gotten used to it, the only thing that I rescue and for which I open the native camera is for its Action Cam, which I really love, it stabilizes very well, and it is 119 °. The phone, I bought for 160 dollars, which seemed like a good deal, and at the same price as the Xiaomi Note 8, it has several better things, such as its sound, construction, screen and video recording.

        Pros
        • Video recording (Action Cam)
        • Stereo sound
        • Construction for its price
        • Android almost stock
        Cons
        • night photography

A reliable and virtually stock Android phone.

I love the sound of this phone, nothing to do with the heavy audios of Samsung. The screen is correct. The performance is correct for a person who does not play demanding video games, and who uses it mostly for social networks. Regarding the camera I am using the GCam: with it it goes great, it improves the image quality especially at night. And I like pop that adds to selfies, by the way, good selfie. The battery is the only thing I didn't like. Although it compensates a bit with the 15W load.

It is a very good device for the non-demanding user

I like its design, although I would have liked to take advantage of the front of the device, for normal daily use there are no problems, but when it is pushed to the limit, if it suffers from slight delays. The rear camera in good light conditions defends itself with slack, but at night it loses too much. The selfie is normal, neither bad, nor very good, it has good angularity. The screen is good for viewing content, but sometimes I noticed that it is somewhat pale, but it is a good screen, it has a lot of quality, and I love the screen size. As for the battery, with automatic brightness in the day, it lasts 4 hours and some more screen on, at night it can be extended to 7 hours. In short, it is a very balanced smartphone.

        Pros
        • Fast charge
