  Was a decent phone until it started falling

  After one year of normal use it started having all kinds of problems. It started with the microphone not working during calls, which made it unusable as a phone, and then the capacitor buttons at the bottom started to act up, creating ghost presses randomly, which made it unusable.

  a great phone with a tiny price tag

  I bought a k50-t3 with a Chinese ROM. It wouldn't connect to mobile networks unless it was allowed to use day while roaming, because apparently it considered every country outside of China as"roaming". On top of that, it had some adware that kept popping unsolicited tabs while surfing the net. The only way of getting rid of that malware was to flash a new ROM, so that's what i did. There are many to choose from, but I went with the standard official rest of the world Lenovo k50-a40. It works fine and it was upgraded over the air to marshmallow. The only problems I've found are that the phone gets hot and starts malfunctioning if left on the car dashboard on a sunny day and that the alarm is not reliable
