Description

The Doogee T10 - A Mid-Range Tablet

Doogee, one of the most well-known Chinese phone manufacturers, is expanding into the tablet market with the release of their latest mid-range tablet, the Doogee T10. Set to hit stores in November 2022, the Doogee T10 is sure to be a popular choice with those looking for a powerful yet affordable tablet. Let’s take a look at what it offers.

Design & Materials

The Doogee T10 is made from an aluminium alloy, making it tough, durable and lightweight. The frame is elegantly rounded and the edges are smooth, offering the user a comfortable grip. Its 10.1” IPS LCD screen is vivid and clear, and its resolution of 1920x1200 ensures great visuals. It also features a generous usable surface area of 75.4%. As for audio, the Doogee T10 comes with two stereo speakers for great sound quality.

Hardware

Under the hood, the Doogee T10 is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T606 chipset, based on a 12nm process. This processor is backed up by 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage – more than enough for most users. In terms of benchmarking, the T10 scored 238635 on the AnTuTu v9 benchmark.

Camera

The Doogee T10 is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with a f/2.2 aperture and a CMOS sensor. This setup is good enough for capturing decent shots, but it won’t compete with cameras found on high-end phones. On the front, there’s an 8 MP selfie camera.

Connectivity

The Doogee T10 supports dual SIM, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and an audio jack. There’s also a microSD slot for external storage.

Battery

The T10 packs an impressive 8300 mAh battery, which should provide more than enough power for those long days away from the charger. It also supports 18W fast charging, so you won’t have to spend ages recharging your device.

Conclusion

The Doogee T10 is set to be a great mid-range tablet when it hits shelves next year. With its powerful processor, 8GB of RAM, expansive storage options and long-lasting battery, the Doogee T10 has the potential to be a game-changer in the mid-range tablet segment.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
