Network compatibility
There is not need supporting all bands for having coverage in the different types of networks. For example, if it does not support one band, could make you not to have 4G coverage in rural areas or having bad coverage inside buildings, but having it without problems in cities.

- Wonderful for the first year and half, then suddenly became junk.
For the first year and half that I had it, it was my dream phone. Great performance, good battery life (lasted about a day with heavy gaming). Then, one and half years after owning it, it suddenly got some weird wakelock that drains about 3% battery per hour, when idle. Connectivity also went down the drain - radio signal, gps and bluetooth is fine, but wifi is broken. A simple brick wall between wifi source and the phone is enough for it to have trouble maintain signal. Even staying in front of the router, the phone has trouble keeping the connection. It also becomes laggy at random times. I've done countless factory resets and installed a few custom ROMs, cannot fix these issues. I think that it's some hardware failure, but I've never let it fall nor been rough with it. Also, latest OTA was December 2017, Android 8.0.
I could send it in for repairs, but HTC is badly represented where I live and it would probably return with other problems.Pros- Metal body

no Ki
- 4.9 Design & Materials
- 5.8 Performance & Hardware
- 7.1 Camera
- 6.2 Connectivity
- 4.6 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
