It has decent cameras for daytime and nighttime use, and its performance is more than smooth enough for everyday use.

The Infinix Note 40 5G is a good phone for everyday use, very smooth in that regard, although it does show weakness as soon as you start pushing it. While it does experience occasional drops, it usually recovers within a second. Demanding titles like Genchi tend to be more stable at 24 fps on low graphics and maximum resolution; it also has problems on high settings. My only criticism is the GPU, as it's not very compatible with some graphics, but it's fine for the price. The Infinix Note 40 5G can run moderately demanding titles without problems, but for very demanding games, you'll have to switch to low graphics settings. As a side note, keep the phone as clean as possible and disable virtual RAM, which I believe is enabled by default. If you're going to use it for gaming, use a cooler, as it tends to heat up very quickly and performance drops rapidly as soon as the temperature starts to rise, but it will always stay cool with daily use.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
