Let me sum it up for you

  • using this phone since its release

In my opinion, this phone doesnt worth the price, because even samsung ultra budget phones are better than this. The camera quality is awful, even on a daytime photo grass makes it look ai generated.
Heating on this phone is pretty high(it was at 70°C multiple times). CPU is weak and it barely runs anything. Got only 1 major android update in over 2 years of usage(from android 13 to 14). In the past few months even TikTok started to crash and become laggy for no reason. CPU is throttling so badly. My battery is at like 80-84% health and it works for around 7 hours of active usage.

  • Disappointing underpowered and underperforming phone

The Motorola G14 is a very disappointing phone that cannot even properly make phone calls. I had no end of problems with this phone. It would constantly lag and apps would hang or crash. General performance was just awful. The battery would not even last a day. The call quality was terrible and would drop out constantly even in areas with decent reception. This phone is just straight up lousy. I expected a lot better from Motorola. The CPU is terrible despite the specifications stating it should work well it does not. The display is just okay. The sound is barely acceptable. Battery endurance was terrible. It struggled to run most games and lagged them badly. Overall this phone is awful strongly advise to avoid getting it. You will regret it if you do.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
