Introducing the Motorola Moto G71 5G: A Mid-Range Smartphone with Advanced Features
Motorola has recently unveiled their newest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G71 5G. Released in November 2021, the G71 5G is a fantastic choice for users who are looking for a great combination of power and affordability. With its impressive hardware configuration, long-lasting battery life and solid design, the Motorola G71 5G is an ideal phone for those who seek quality without breaking the bank.
Design & Materials
The Moto G71 5G has a sleek metal frame that gives it a modern look. On the back, there is a plastic finish. It also features a 6.4-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution (1080x2400). The G71 5G has a screen-to-body ratio of 82.6%, meaning that it offers a good amount of real estate for watching movies or playing games. What’s more, the G71 5G supports Dolby Atmos for great sound experience.
Hardware
In terms of hardware, the G71 5G packs quite a punch for its price tag. This device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and it comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage. AnTuTu v9 scored the G71 5G at 396564, making it a decent performer. Security-wise, the G71 5G offers a fingerprint sensor placed at the back of the device.
Camera
The G71 5G is equipped with a triple-camera setup on the rear. This includes a Samsung S5KJN1 50MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. It can take decent shots in daylight but struggles in low-light conditions. It also has a 16MP selfie camera which is quite decent for taking selfies and video calls.
Connectivity
The G71 5G features dual SIM slots and supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and audio jack.
Battery
The G71 5G is powered by a 5000mAh battery. It also supports 33W fast charging for a quick top up.
Pros & Cons
The Moto G71 5G offers plenty of features for its price tag. Its long-lasting battery life, great display quality and modern operating system make it stand out from the rest. But some may not appreciate the fact that the G71 5G does not feature water and dust resistance and its night photography capability is not the best. Furthermore, the G71 5G is suited more for everyday tasks rather than gaming.
Conclusion
Overall, the Moto G71 5G offers a great combination of features and performance. It provides an excellent value for money without compromising on quality. Thus, the Motorola G71 5G could be a great choice for those who are looking for an affordable mid-range smartphone.

- AutoQuite compliant.
I had it for two years, and it was a great phone. The battery lasted all day, and the display, which was only 60Hz, was really good, bright, and of very good quality. I could play many games as long as they weren't too demanding.
