- Not a bad phone but has some drawbacks
My previous phone was an original Google Pixek. The G9 Play is not bad at all, but I have been used to some features I do not have right now. The phone is over weight, the 5000mAh battery, also makes the phone feel fat and over sized. The other disappointment is the camera. The main shooter is a 48MP sensor, but as the sensor brand is not disclosed, I must say is neither the Sony nor the Samsung sensor. Even the 4year old Pixel takes better pictures and videos.

View answers - AutoA good cell phone in its time
I had this phone used in 2024 and it was a good buy. I couldn't have the experience of a new one, which is better. You can't find it new these days, and it's not worth buying used since you can't get the same performance as a new one. The cameras are decent. The processor is very good despite its age; it runs social media and less demanding games (like Free Fire, Blood Strike, MOBA Legends Bang Bang, and 3D games) normally. The battery was somewhat degraded since it didn't last a full day and I had to charge it twice a day. It has fast charging, although it does get warm, but it charges in an hour and a half or more. It runs games well, decent I'd say, but it does get warm, although it doesn't bother me if you have a case. The operating system is good and doesn't use much RAM, although I should clarify that I changed the system mid-year to a lighter one, LineageOS. If you have this phone, I recommend installing this system; you'll see a big difference. Performance will improve a lot.
