    Very good and balanced team

I bought it for my father, but I've been testing it thoroughly. It's not the first Realme in the family, and I'm familiar with the system (I have an OPPO, and it's almost the same). For those unfamiliar, the software is very clean, fluid, bug-free, and has almost no annoying system apps. It comes with games installed, but you can uninstall them. The screen is of very good quality, and the touchscreen is also very fine, as is the vibration, which is very subtle when typing (I usually turn it off, but I tried it and it works very well). It looks good in the sun. There are better ones, but for me it's enough, and much more than what my smartphone, an OPPO a73 5g from 4 years ago, offers. In terms of power, for normal use for most people, it's more than enough. Good multitasking with its 8GB of RAM and a fluid feel at all times. Good performance for many years. I didn't try it in games, to be honest. And finally, the cameras. A very good main camera. Spectacular during the day for the price, and at night, I'd say so too. The wide-angle isn't that great, but it's like all smartphones at its price. It's fine during the day, but at night it struggles a bit more, although at night with night lights (streetlights, buildings) it holds its own. The 2x optical zoom gives a bit more versatility and is good even at night (better than the wide-angle in that regard). Up to 4x, it maintains pretty decent quality. Beyond that, it blurs more. I don't usually use portrait mode and I'm inexperienced, but I tried it with a dog and it cut out the cutout very well, I think. I didn't try video because I don't usually use it. As for battery, I'd say it's very good. I set the option to not charge more than 80%, and using it from 80% gives a day's battery life, reaching 30% at the end of the day.And that's now that it's brand new and I've been updating it and all that. It'll last longer in a few days. And there's always that 20% that's not used. It charges very quickly, as expected. Ultimately, for the €200 it cost me on Amazon as of April 14, 2025, I couldn't have made a better purchase.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
