The realme GT Neo 3T is the latest mid-range smartphone from realme and part of the new high-end series. It has a 6.62 inches Super AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution of 1080x2400, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m² and a 5000000:1 contrast ratio. It has an impressive 85.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood we find the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 (SM8250-AC) 7nm processor, with either 8GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of UFS Storage 3.1. This is a very good combo for a mid-range smartphone and it can handle any tasks you throw at it. AnTuTu score is 711788. Security is handled by the Fingerprint Display. Realme also added a Tactil Engine with X axis linear motor in order to improve haptic feedback.

For photography, the realme GT Neo 3T has a triple camera setup. The main sensor is the Omnivision OV64B, with 64.0Mpx, f/1.79, pixel size 0.800 and a CMOS sensor. The ultra wide angle lens is a Sony IMX355, 8.0Mpx and f/2.25. Finally, the macro lens has a 2.0Mpx and f/2.4. On the front, you get the Sony IMX471 Exmor RS, 16.0Mpx and f/2.45. Video recording capabilities include 4K video and the lenses are all 6P. In addition, you get an ultra wide-angle lens with 5P FOV and a macro up to 4cm.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, Dual SIM, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and GPS (L1 + L5). Battery capacity is 5000mAh and fast charge is 80.0W.

The Pros of the realme GT Neo 3T are its battery, camera quality and fast charge. On the other hand, it does have some cons such as no wireless charging, no mini jack and no water and dust protection. All in all, the realme GT Neo 3T is a well-rounded mid-range smartphone that will offer excellent performance and value for money. It's expected to be released in June 2022 and it will rival other devices in the same range.

  • Fast smooth UI phone at good value ratio

Probably the smoothest fastest phone I've ever had at the best ridiculously cheap price of £240 open box eBay. Getting 10 hrs SOT (per Accubattery). Only downsidea are small number software updates and perhaps low light photos, but almost irrelevant for me. 6 months later still loving it with no change in my comments 'Love at first swipe' ;)

  • Buy the Dragon Ball Edition

The phone is a little too big, but this helps with gaming and watching movies. It has great stereo speakers. The Dragon ball version is not only for fans of the series because the phone gets a metal back, a cover is included that makes the phone look normal. Photos are better than on my previous phone (a 5 year old flagship). The lack of OIS function doesn't bother you at all because the software doing good job with stabilization. The fingerprint reader is not immediately responsive but it's fine and I got used to it in one day. The screen could have had more pixels because you can see the difference as I switched from a phone that had more than 500, although AMOLED hides this flaw well anyway. The flashlight could have been brighter. It's worth upgrading to Android 13 because it adds features previously missing. I may have listed a lot of flaws, but other than that the phone is very fast, has 5G and performs great. Worth buying.

    Pros
    • Performance and speed
    • Large battery capacity
    • Metal back in dragon ball edition
    Cons
    • Its big
    • Too few pixels on screen

    Good mid-range smartphone

Workmanship is very good... Handling is also good... Unfortunately has no IP certification at all... Keys have a good pressure point... It wobbles and nothing rattles... The display is absolutely top. It gets bright enough ..Great colors and contrast thanks to the Amoled display and the 120 Hertz makes it run very smoothly....The processor is a few years old but still very powerful...Every game from the Play Store can be played. ..Nothing jerks and opening the apps quickly works without any problems... Multitasking is also not a problem with the processor....The battery easily lasts a day with heavy use. With normal use, a day and a half is possible...Thanks to the 80 watt quick charge, the realme is charged from 0 to 100 in 40 minutes... It doesn't have wireless charging....The front camera is very modest...But still usable... The triple camera on the back is absolutely average ...The 64 megapixel main camera takes usable pictures during the day.. At night with a lot of noise...The 8 megapixel is absolutely standard fare in the middle class.. It feels like every smartphone has it... And the 2 megapixel macro is just a placeholder and not worth mentioning..All in all a good smartphone...

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
