My experience with the Neffos C9A

The phone is quite light, weighing nothing at 145 grams. The screen is not that big (5.45 Inches) however it fulfills its function well, except for the small inconvenience of its refresh rate that is equivalent to about 58hz. When you are in full sun it will be a bit difficult to see it, but when we are in a normal situation you can see the entire screen. The NFUI OS is a bit slow due to the processor but it has screen off functions like double tap to unlock, open camera, pause song, fast forward and gesture system which makes it interesting. The last patch it received was back in 2020. The fingerprint sensor was bugged after a year and now I have it disabled since for some strange reason it told me that it was trying to unlock the device when I didn't even have my finger on the sensor. In terms of hardware, it is a limited piece of equipment that does not emphasize heavy tasks, but tasks such as Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube (recommended 480p since 720p gets hot) and calls work quite well. In light games it goes well which is what I usually play, for 3D forget it, that PowerVRGE8100 doesn't measure up at all (in emulators it goes well even psp, some of nes, and those of 8/16 bits, N64 be sure to try multiple cores due to gpu). Facial recognition is acceptable, in low light it does not work and less with a mask. The camera takes good photos I do not deny it (except at night when the noise is brutal), in the video we do not have an image stabilizer in the software. It comes with Android 8.1, Wifi 2.4Ghz and bluetooth 4.1. The 3000mah battery will serve for a day without being able to open a heavy application since then it would be impossible to reach those figures, having the energy saving mode activated will help you to arrive at good hours. The speaker is very bad, the sound comes with a lot of noise and the highs and lows are totally bad. A team that is not really recommendable.

    Durable and cheap

IMHO, the phone for its 5,000 rubles is very durable and lasts a long time, the camera is not so hot, but the price tag is pretty good, it supports HDR pictures, the videos are very noisy, but you can forget about games, the phone plays only the role of a messenger and dialers, browsers can phone hang

It is a good phone for the price, and more for which I take it.

It pulls well, in some heavy games it costs it, but most of medium and low resources it runs quite well (Call of Duty mobile runs it but don't expect a fluid performance), the performance of the phone itself is somewhat fluid but yes you are using a heavy application you better be patient when trying to enter another at the same time. There is something that I do not like at all, and it is its storage capacity, it makes me worse, you suffer with those poor 16GB, if there was a 32GB version I would not hesitate to buy it. It is beautiful, I like it a lot since I saw it, it is a design with semi-thin frames, speaking of the design, the screen is surprising, it has a very good quality, very sharp, yes, nice image, but it consumes a lot of battery, since This one, it does not last a day: 'v The camera, well what can I tell you, works well, with lighting it has a nice image, but when recording it has focus problems, and the selfie also has a normal quality, not bad that yes.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
