Design & Materials: One of the first things that catches the eye about the vivo V70 is its stunning design. The phone features a sleek and modern look with a screen size of 6.59 inches, made from AMOLED technology with a resolution of 1260x2750 (QHD). The high refresh rate of 120 Hz ensures smooth and fluid scrolling, while the maximum brightness of HBM - 1800 cd/m² and HDR10+ support guarantee an immersive viewing experience. The usable surface of the phone is an impressive 90.4%, thanks to the slim bezels surrounding the display.

In terms of materials, the vivo V70 is crafted from a combination of aluminium alloy and plastic, ensuring durability without compromising on weight. The phone measures just 7.59mm thick and weighs in at 194g, making it comfortable to hold and use. The vivo V70 is available in three elegant colors – Gold, Gray, and Brown, catering to different aesthetic preferences.

Audio is another area where the vivo V70 excels, with stereo speakers providing rich and powerful sound quality. The inclusion of Hi-Res Audio support enhances the audio experience further, while the noise cancellation microphone ensures clear and crisp voice calls even in noisy environments.

Hardware: Under the hood, the vivo V70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, built on the efficient 4nm process. This powerhouse of a chipset delivers blazing-fast performance, allowing users to multitask seamlessly and run demanding applications with ease. The phone comes in two RAM configurations – 8GB and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, ensuring smooth and lag-free operation.

Storage options for the vivo V70 include 256GB and 512GB of UFS Storage 4.1, providing ample space for storing all your apps, photos, videos, and other data. The AnTuTu benchmark score of 1010000 demonstrates the impressive performance capabilities of this device, outperforming many competitors in its class.

Security is paramount on the vivo V70, with a fingerprint display sensor ensuring quick and secure access to the device. Additionally, a dedicated cooling system keeps the phone running cool and efficient, even during prolonged usage sessions or heavy gaming.

Camera: The camera setup on the vivo V70 is another highlight, featuring a versatile triple camera array. The primary camera uses a Sony LYT-700C sensor with 50.0Mpx resolution and f/1.8 aperture, capturing detailed and vibrant photos in any lighting conditions. A wide-angle lens with 8.0Mpx resolution and a telephoto lens with Sony IMX882 sensor and 50.0Mpx resolution offer creative flexibility for capturing different types of shots.

Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate the 50.0Mpx front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture, producing stunning self-portraits with excellent clarity and detail. Optical stabilization (OIS) ensures shake-free videos and sharp images, while 4K video recording capabilities let users capture high-quality footage of their memorable moments.

Connectivity: On the connectivity front, the vivo V70 is equipped with the latest features to keep users connected at all times. Bluetooth 5.4, dual SIM support, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), and GPS (L1+L5) are all included, ensuring seamless communication and fast data transfer speeds. Infrared functionality adds an extra layer of convenience, allowing the phone to control compatible smart home devices.

Battery: Powering the vivo V70 is a robust 6500mAh battery, providing all-day usage on a single charge. The phone supports ultra-fast 90W wired fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime when refueling the battery. Additionally, reverse charging capability allows the vivo V70 to act as a power bank, topping up other devices in need of a quick boost.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
