The Vivo X100 Pro is a high-end mobile phone that was released in November of 2023 from the world-renowned phone manufacturer, vivo. The X100 Pro is part of the X100 series of devices, and its predecessors such as the X100 has gained quite a reputation within the market, and the X100 Pro is no exception.

When it comes to design and materials, the Vivo X100 Pro takes no compromises. It is made from the highest-grade aluminum alloy, and is slim and lightweight at just 9.05mm and 221g. This makes it comfortable to hold and use for extended periods of time. It also sports an impressive 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1260x2800 (WQHD+). Under the hood, the X100 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor, which is built on 4nm technology. It features 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5X or LPDDR5T RAM depending on the model. It also has 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS storage 4.0. AnTuTu (V10) scores for this device are 2249858. Security-wise, fingerprint sensors are integrated into the display. For cooling, there is a dedicated liquid-based system.

The camera setup on the X100 Pro consists of a triple camera system. It includes a standard Sony IMX989 with a 50.0Mpx lens and a f/1.75 aperture, a wide-angle Samsung S5KJN1 also with 50.0Mpx lens and f/2.0 aperture, and a telephoto + macro Omnivision OV64B (50Mp) with 50.0Mpx lens and f/2.5 aperture. For selfies, there is a Samsung S5KGD2 with 32.0Mpx lens and f/2.0 aperture. Other features include optical stabilization (OIS), 4K video, 1G + 7P lens, telephoto with OIS Zeiss APO with Zeiss floating lens group, optical zoom 4.3x, digital zoom 100x, and Zeiss lens.

When it comes to connectivity, the X100 Pro also does not disappoint with its support for Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6 (802.11ax) , dual SIM, NFC, GPS (L1 + L5), and infrared.

The Vivo X100 Pro is powered by a 5400mAh battery that supports fast charging at 100.0W and has wireless charging capabilities.* It also supports reverse charging.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
