- The Best Budget and Compact Phones
This is one of my favorite phones. It’s not too big, it’s slim and lightweight. The display is amazing because it uses AMOLED, the sound quality is… standard but still enjoyable, and the performance is solid. The 778g can still run the latest games and keep the user experience smooth and seamless at 120Hz display. The only downside to this phone is the battery, it has a capacity of just 4,300 mAh to keep the weight and dimensions compact (maybe?). The 778g’s performance isn’t as fast as other phones using a similar SoC, perhaps due to thermal limit or its slim design? I’m not entirely sure. As for the camera, it has a few shortcomings: the color tones lean more toward the cool side and are oversaturated, which might not be to everyone’s liking. However, video performance is fine, it can switch between wide and ultrawide lenses seamlessly. But again, this SoC tends to overheat in this phone. so when used outdoors, the phone may feel choppy or even stop responding once it gets too hot.
