Technical sheet of Xiaomi Mi Note 3
Description
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 is an excellent terminal. It could be called the "Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus" because it is aesthetically similar to the Mi 6, but with a 5.5" screen. It is quite different from the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, which had a Amoled screen instead of an IPS, and bet more on a different design from the rest of the "Mi" range. The Snapdragon 660 processor is powerful, not so much as the Mi6's 835, but you will not notice it being slow at any time. With a 5.5" terminal, we had expected the useful surface to be larger but it remains at 73%, a fair value for this screen size. The IPS screen is good quality, with good contrast and brightness, which makes it easy to see on sunny days. It does well in terms of photography: the sensor of the rear camera, the Sony IMX386 with an f/1.8 aperture, allows you to take good photos and is accompanied by another Samsung sensor offering 2X optical zoom and portrait style photos. There is no official Global ROM for this device, but there is MIUI EU multilanguage ROM with Google services pre-installed, so the terminal is problem-free in this regard. A good result too in terms of networks, because although it does not have all the European bands, it covers most of them . It is a complete mobile in terms of connectivity methods, it has NFC, infrared and Wifi 2.4/5GHz. As we have are used to with Xiaomi, the battery life will not disappoint you. The Mi Note 3 has a 3500 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, which allows you to use the terminal problem-free for a day and a half or two days with moderate use.

Network compatibility
There is not need supporting all bands for having coverage in the different types of networks. For example, if it does not support one band, could make you not to have 4G coverage in rural areas or having bad coverage inside buildings, but having it without problems in cities.

- 6.7 Design & Materials
- 6.5 Performance & Hardware
- 7.6 Camera
- 6.2 Connectivity
- 5.5 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
