Samsung Galaxy A54 5G vs Samsung Galaxy S22: Comparison

Camera Both phones have a triple camera setup. The A54 5G has a standard camera that uses the Sony IMX766 sensor with 50.0MPx and f/1.8 aperture, a wide-angle lens that uses the Samsung S5K3L6 sensor with 13.0MPx and f/2.2 aperture and a macro lens with 5.0MPx and f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it has a Sony IMX616 sensor with 32.0MPx and f/2.0 aperture. It also has optical stabilization (OIS) and can record 4K video. The S22 also has a triple camera setup. It can record 4K and 8K video, has an ultra-wide angle of 120º, has PDAF and OIS and has a 3x optical zoom. Its selfie camera has 10.0MPx and f/2.2 aperture with 1.220 pixel size.

Connectivity Both phones support Dual SIM, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and eSIM. The Galaxy A54 5G also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and the S22 supports Bluetooth 5.2. The S22 additionally supports Samsung DeX and Samsung Wireless DeX.

Battery The A54 5G has a 5000mAh battery and supports fast charging at 25.0W. The S22 has a smaller 3700mAh battery but also supports fast charging at 25.0W, as well as wireless charging.
