It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and has a usable surface of 89.3%. The audio is also top notch with Stereo Speakers and Dolby Atmos technology. The materials used are aluminium alloy and glass. This high-end device was released in February 2020.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 boasts a 6.10-inch AMOLED display with a 1080x2340 FHD+ resolution and 2000000:1 contrast ratio. It is protected by the ultra-durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and has a usable surface of 88.2%. The audio is just as good as the S20’s with Stereo Speakers. The materials used are again aluminium alloy and glass. It is expected to be released in February 2022.

Hardware

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is powered by the Exynos 990 (7nm) processor with up to 8GB or 12GB RAM LPDDR5. Internal storage of 128GB can be expanded with an external SD. The Samsung Galaxy S22 packs the latest Exynos 2200 (4nm) processor with 8GB of RAM LPDDR5 and an internal storage of either 128GB or 256GB. It has an impressive Antutu Benchmark score of 889845. It also comes with a fingerprint display for security.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a triple camera at the back, starting with a primary sensor of 12Mpx with a pixel size of 1.800 and f/1.8 aperture. This is accompanied by a telephoto lens of 64Mpx with a pixel size of 1.00 and f/2.0 aperture, and a wide angle lens of 12Mpx with a pixel size of 1.400 and f/2.2 aperture. The selfie shooter clocks in at 10Mpx with a pixel size of 1.220 and an f/2.2 aperture. It supports Optical Stabilization (OIS), 4K video recording, 3x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom and Wide Angle Lens of up to 120°.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and WiFi 6 (802.11ax). It supports dual SIM and Samsung DeX with a USB-C to HDMI port.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 takes connectivity to the next level with its Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and WiFi 6 (802.11ax). It supports dual SIM, eSIM, Dual SIM+eSIM, Samsung DeX and Samsung Wireless DeX.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S20 is equipped with a 4000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and wireless charging capabilities. For those moments when you need a bit of extra juice, you can use reverse charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a slightly smaller 3700mAh battery but the same 25W fast charging and wireless charging capabilities. It also supports Dual SIM+eSIM and Samsung Wireless DeX.
