It also has an aluminium alloy body with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and faux leather on the back. The usable surface is 88.9%. There is also a plain leather version with a thickness of 8.1mm and a weight of 185g.

The hardware on the Xiaomi 13 is slightly upgraded from the 12, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4nm) processor, 8GB or 12GB LEDDR5X RAM, and either 128GB, 256GB or 512GB UFS Storage 3.1 or 4.0. AnTuTu (v9) scores can reach up to 1255000. Security still includes the Fingerprint Display feature and there is now a cooling system with a 4642mm² VC vapor chamber and X-axis linear motor.

The camera setup is the same as the Xiaomi 12, but it now has a higher quality Sony IMX800 54.0Mpx lens on the back with an f/1.8 aperture and CMOS sensor, as well as an Omnivision OV13B10 13.0Mpx wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, pixel size 1.120, and CMOS sensor, and a Samsung S5K3K1 10.0Mpx telephoto lens with an f/2.0 aperture and ISOCELL.
