Face ID does it for me, can’t stand entering passwords and finger never works. Even without 120 it’s still an extremely smooth phone, a joy to use in fact. I’ve listed the cons below but in addition typing on iPhones totally sucks with a low accuracy rate, ridiculously poor or non existent spell checking. Google it and you will see it’s a widely recognised thing by many.. all except Apple it seems. If you can tolerate this (The keyboard finally finished me off and I sold ), this iPhone is totally worth a buy at eBay used prices in 2025.

The phone is impressive. Occasional freezing occurs post-iOS 18 update, which is a software issue. Nonetheless, the photo quality is exceptional for its price.

I think it's a very well-rounded phone. If you get it at a good price, it beats many current mid-range phones in terms of power, cameras, and in some cases, battery life. It's a large device, but not as heavy as its bigger brother, the 14 Pro Max. The screen, although not 120Hz or 90Hz, is very smooth without any problems; it's really not a big deal. The battery is good, lasting a day or more depending on usage, but it still has very good battery life. Its video recording is excellent, not at the quality of a Pro Max, but it surpasses all current mid-range phones. It's worth clarifying that I'm not a fanboy; I've tried many phones, both Android and Apple, and while it has its shortcomings, it also excels in other areas. In short, it's a very complete device: screen, build quality, etc. Recommended if you want to start with phones from this brand.

- only 60Hz (if you're interested, although you won't notice it)

Score
- 7.8 Design & Materials
- 7.3 Performance & Hardware
- 8.1 Camera
- 8.4 Connectivity
- 7.4 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
