- One of best cost-effective of 2015!
When I bought a ZenFone 2 (it was the best option in 2015 for the Brazilian market, as it had price of intermediate with power of a flagship!), it was the best cost-effective of its time. Although it is from 01/2015, I got it in 2016, so now it has 3 years with me at least. After 2 years I had to change the battery, what I do not think is so terrible, since the charger has power charge (some people say it reduces the life expectancy of the battery). The Intel Atom is very powerful and the 4GB of RAM was a real amazing feature for 2015. Unfortunately, many Apps from Play Store were/are bad optimized for the x86 architecture of Atom. Even with its powerful CPU and GPU, the ZenFone 2 had some serious troubles with some games. Currently, I cannot use correctly a bank app because it is no more compatible with x86 devices (what a shame!). I really still love this phone and the minor problems I had to face where the speakers (not working well now) and the display (unsticking 2nd time!).Positives
- Robust and powerful for a 2015 phone!
- 4GB version is a perfect choice for future proof!
- Amazing CPU + GPU!
- Camera has low light fantastic feature!
- Battery life suffers a bit because of Intel's inexperience!
- Uncompatibility with some apps! (x86 structure)!
- The camera quality could be better!
- Very good equipment, it's just a shame that ASUS killed it with no updates. The Intel processor really does manage.
The phone 4/64 GB is very comfortable, it is in the palm of your hand, it is not unpleasant, the only minus is the old soft and the lack of official OTA updates. The Android 6.0 version is a failure, full of errors. I just made a return to Android 5.5 to upload custom ROM 8.1
- Good Phone but for an year use
I had it for an year and worked fine before the screen got buggy - touches everywhere, which is very irritating. The 4G signal is not as strong as I wanted, and it uses a lot of battery on cellular.Positives
- Great phone
Camera: better than Iphone, Motorola, LG
Battery: Almost 17 - 20 hours in use
Is it a drop-resistant and scratch-resistant smartphone? No, definitely not, My first drop outside the screen has broke.
Games: such good.

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
