- An excellent phone for regular use and photography
An excellent phone, very light in use, with a good battery and very fast charging. The camera is excellent, the selfie camera is decent but not great, and night photography is poor in low light.
The phone is not shockproof, especially the edges and back.
The screen can only withstand drops from a low height.Pros- 9

View answers - Face unlock works in low light!
Replacing an otherwise good Pixel 7 the 200 unlocks with ease with face, even in almost total darkness. The P7 face unlock is poor in low light, great in good. The fingerprint scanners on both are still poor with dry winter skin, but 200 works in almost total darkness and so better than P7 which is terrible all the time. 200 however does not have face awake feature to prevent screen switching off when viewing without touching screen. This is a major bummer for me and no one reviews the biometrics in detail. The camera app can at times be laggy, especially if you snap then try to share to WhatsApp. The screen quality/ resolution/brightness is however simply amazing! Overall this is a nice phone at a very reasonable price for a normal user.
Pros- <200gms
- Great bright screen
- Small bezels
- Face unlock is fast/low light
- Nearly new prices good value
- Magic OS features eg folder size
Cons- Optical fingerprint still unreliable
- No face awake to stop screen switching off!!
- Fast charge 100w a bit slow
- Shutter laggy for demanding users

View answers - This is Huawei's global offensive
Bought two months ago for just around 400 € (plus Honor smartwatch, bt speaker and 100W charger as a gift), it is heavy and bulky (I prefer flip and light compact phones) but in the end it's really good phone. Great new Snap 7 SoC, great everyday camera (good at night too), deep and loud sound from speakers, immersive hdr 10-bit oled screen with PWM eye protection (good under bright sun too) and very durable battery plus very fast charging - less than 50 minutes to charge big 5200mAh 0-100. For that money it's simply the best. It looks quirky but it is also very well made. It has glass protection and probably is splash resistant but Huawei doesn't want to ruin his first sibling Pro so doesn't mention any protection. Big plus for me is IR blaster, very useful. Almost forget to mention useful AI which is more implemented in the latest Magic OS update. Though some simple things I am missing from Motorola and Samsung (display on while you are reading, shake for torch, pick up for take call etc.) but maybe Huawei will give us that in another update.
Pros- Long lasting and fast charging (100W) battery
- Great photos, maybe the best in the class
- High quality eye-friendly display
- Quality sound
- Interesting AI addition
Cons- No declared waterproof
- heavy
- ugly back camera design
- weak flash
- fast throttling brightness under the Sun

Score
- 7.4 Design & Materials
- 7.4 Performance & Hardware
- 8.4 Camera
- 8.0 Connectivity
- 7.3 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
