- Over a day battery life non gaming!
Review on purchase of Edge 40 £185 CEX grade A in box. It's a really nice phone. I am getting on average a day of battery, often 20-25% next morning and 8-9hrs SOT per accubattery 60hz, 5g off, and no stupid battery drain issues also reported elsewhere. Oh, and the 'Ready For' app is awesome, 'sends' an android desktop to my TV (or any connected screen) with on phone screen touch mouse pad control! Shows all android apps on my phone on TV! Awesome, kinda like an Android tablet on screen. First phone I've had in a while that feels really nice and is nice to use for daily stuff and the more I use it the more I like it. If only someone at Lenovo got their head on re timely and extensive software updates they'd wipe the floor.....

Just got android 14, depending on usage, battery may not last a whole day. Camera is what surprised me and the resiliance of the display to scratches. First phone im not using protection for the screen, and it has fallen on the floor from 0.5m. Procesor does its job, but the phone has some stuttering problems sometimes (no deal breakers - no in app problems). Feels great in hand, doesnt slip because of faux leather. Smells great out of the box (trust me and sniff it). Controling sound volume is a hasttle, it lags like hell - biggest minus on my side.
Pros- Great display - even better with android 14 update
- Camera functions and quality are astounding for me
- Wireless charging
- Scratch resistant screen
- Stereo sound with dolby app
- Great wifi range - best ive seen yet
Cons- Not the best battery autonimy if you want to use it at best performance
- Can stutter while navigating system
- Buttons for sound control are lagging like hell

It's a mid-to-high-end phone (for me it's high-end) because of its features; the only downsides are the battery and photography.
Pros- Processor
- Fast charging
- Screen and 144Hz
- Camera in certain environments
Cons- Night vision camera
- Selfie
- Heating
- Vegan leather

View answers - AutoThe device is generally good.
The camera sometimes takes very good photos, in my opinion, but sometimes it takes bad photos, especially at night. The battery lasts a little longer after the latest Android 15 update. Its performance is very good, but don't expect too much from it in very demanding games. In its previous version, Android 14, it only managed to score 765,000 Antutu points, and in its latest Android 15 update, it achieves 970,000 Antutu points. This means that it's now taking advantage of its maximum performance after the latest update. And finally, the battery lasts a little longer in the Android 15 version.
Pros- 68W fast charging
- 144Hz Smooth Display
- Lightweight, you won't even feel it in your pocket
- Good processor: Dimensity 8020
Cons- Battery

I've had this device for a year and a half now. The best thing is how comfortable and ergonomic it is, thanks to its light weight, compact size, and curved screen. The worst thing is the battery life; it doesn't last all day.
Pros- Design.
- Weight.
- Motorola gestures.
Cons- Battery.
- Camera.

- Power for everyday life
- Surround sound
- Fluidity and cleanliness of the system
Cons- Screen prone to pixel burn-in
- Uncomfortable thickness

Score
- 8.0 Design & Materials
- 7.1 Performance & Hardware
- 7.8 Camera
- 7.9 Connectivity
- 5.5 Battery
In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:
- Design and screen
- Hardware and performance
- Camera
- Connectivity
- Battery
Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.
Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.
The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
