  • Decent overall, but kinda hit or miss

It's a decent phone, but has its quirks. You can pretty frequently feel it choking a bit while going thought the UI, and the screen refresh rate feels a tad slower compared with an s22. I don't know what it is exactly but it just feels somewhat slow and clunky in everyday use

  • A great daily drive for the price.

For the price, OnePlus 12r is a great device. The gaming experience is great but, it struggles and throttles down if the ambient room temperature is high. If the device is running in a cool environment it runs smoothly (gaming). I believe if you are a hardcore gamer, you should go for the cooler that OnePlus has to offer. But overall, with normal usage it is great and gives you a really smooth experience.
For an Android it is a really good choice. But, one thing I noticed is that while playing genshin impact, yeah it gives you consistent 60fps but, only gives you the option to set the graphics to high in - VFX, effects, resolution, etc. the only thing that it allows you to keep at the highest setting is the environment details. While on the other hand on my old iPad with A13 bionic it's is the other way around, it gives me the option to set every single graphics option to the highest setting except the environment details which is limited to high. (The graphics options are LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH AND HIGHEST) in Genshin Impact. So, I was confused at this point.
Apart for that, the cameras are not good on this device. Despite of the imx 890 sensor, the photos on infinite focus lose their details. Cameras could have been better.

    Beautiful!

After months and months of use, I can give my final opinion. I have been using this phone for months now and what can I say, it's a real bomb! OnePlus always offers impeccable build quality in its devices. At first I used Xiaomi 13T Pro, but since I bought OnePlus I had to sell my Xiaomi. Nothing like that with other devices, and I have tried everything, Samsung, Vivo, Realme, and others. OnePlus has that extra touch. Performance that in daily use will not leave you with a dead battery. It has so many settings that make you love this phone. You have full freedom of customization, with so many premium functions to use the phone at the maximum or minimum of gestures. The only sore point for me is the selfie camera, really bad, even if in my opinion with some software updates it could be improved a bit. The main camera is not bad, obviously not up to par with camera phones, but we all know that it is not, so for what it can give you, it is the best. It has excellent general management, I have never encountered any problems, a minimum system lag or things like that, it always runs like a rocket, without the slightest problem. All this is obviously due to the very powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. I have tested it in many actions, even the most stressed, but it holds up easily, without even having overheating problems. In short, for its price, power, materials and software it is truly a marvel. This is based on my personal experience, obviously this can change based on different needs, based on what a person may want.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
