  • Best phone I could've got for 380$.

This phone is just amazing, in every possible way. The way OnePlus has gotten better and better over the years is just crazy to me. It's smooth, both cameras are way better than expected, the user experience is just beyond and above with Color OS 16, it can run any game, even very demanding titles. The build quality is also great, the back feels smooth and comforting to the touch, the edges are comfortable too, you can use it for hours without any problem. And I forgot, the battery. It's just wild. Writing this review, i didn't charge my phone for 2 days, and it's at 49%. I use it at least 4 hours a day. Overall, I'd say that it's the best budget phone of the year, easily.

How This Phone Became the Best Under $500

For such a modest price, you get perhaps the best balance on the market—in some places, it could easily reach flagship levels. The only thing missing is high-quality camera optics. But even without them, the camera easily covers basic needs: photos are good even at 10x zoom. The body doesn't disappoint: neither the back nor the bezels are prone to scratches, and the phone fits comfortably in the hand. Performance is flagship-level. All games run perfectly at ultra settings. And with a cooler, you can easily play PC games through an emulator—for example, The Witcher 3 or Resident Evil 2 Remake—at a stable 60 fps at 720p. The battery deserves special praise. It holds a charge impressively even under heavy gaming loads: about 5.5 hours of battery life in games, and with everyday use, it easily lasts two days without recharging.
Some nice touches include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, a 165Hz screen, pleasant vibration feedback, excellent water resistance, ergonomics, smooth ColorOS, loud, clear sound, and a microphone. Rating: 9.7/10 for value. If you're hesitating whether to buy it, don't hesitate: this is the best balanced phone you can get in its segment. The only exception is if you're looking for a camera phone. Otherwise, a good mid-range camera with 4K60 video and 20x zoom is more than enough.

    Perfectly balanced

It's one of the best phones you can find for under $500. It's a beast for everything, and especially for gaming; it stands out like no other on eBay. I bought it brand new and I don't regret it at all. If you're on a budget and want something well-rounded, this is the option.

It's a good smartphone, I don't regret buying it at all.

The phone is very good; the battery lasts a day or more (less if you play games). The camera is also good, 4K 120fps, but the ultra-wide 1080p 30fps is a pain; it only takes great photos during the day and evening. It doesn't heat up while gaming; in ZZZ, it reached 36-38°C (room temperature was quite low). I can recommend this phone. I bought it in China without unlocking the network and used it in Kazakhstan. On the second day, a regional lock arrived, which can be resolved in 10-30 minutes through Oppo support.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
