(I'm a Filipino so my overall rating is high because having a good phone like this is a blessing!) (Also, I'm confused how the Poco F4 performs better than it's GT counterpart...)

Edit: My comment and rating here is for the Poco F4 5G 8/256, not the 6/128 version...

  • Awesome upgrade

Previously using Poco X3 NFC and that phone was good especially the battery life. F4 is another mile. I can play Mobile Legends in Ultra FR/Graphics smoothly on 120Hz although there's a bit of sacrifice on the battery life. Phone is very responsive, the speakers are loud, the haptics is satisfying. Dolby vision and atmos are a treat especially when watching supported content and the display is excellent and can read well under sunlight (1300 nits on Auto). The phone is fast on Wifi and 5G. The camera is good although there's a lot to be desired in nighttime photos (I use Gcam as a sub). Overall, a veri nice phone.

    Neither good nor bad.

For the price $3900 MXN it is the best option, the specifications are very good and I don't think I can find anything better for that price, the only bad thing I find about it like all Xiaomi is MIUI and a bit the cameras.

Great value for money, but with performance limits

March 2023 I bought my f4 (8ram 256rom) and it had great performance on miui 13, the turbo game was more fluid and ran all games on Full ultra (Cod, FF, Mine, CarxDrift2, GTA SA, Gta3) However with The update to MIUI 14, I noticed a sudden drop in the device's performance, causing some apps and games to crash, which for the cell phone's configuration, is something that shouldn't happen. I don't know if this is happening with the arrival of Hyperos, to say that there was a huge improvement in performance, or if Xiaomi limited it just to force the user to get another device.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
