Introducing the POCO F4 5G – the latest mid-range smartphone from POCO. As a part of the F4 series, the POCO F4 5G promises to deliver stunning visuals thanks to its 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1300 cd/m². In addition, the display also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a 5000000:1 contrast ratio – perfect for movies, videos and gaming.

The POCO F4 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 (SM8250-AC) processor, making it powerful and reliable. For those who need more power, there’s the option to select up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, as well as 128GB or 256GB of UFS Storage 3.1. The AnTuTu benchmark was recorded at 715000 – indicating that the POCO F4 5G is a well-performing device.

On the back of the phone is a triple camera setup that takes advantage of the Omnivision OV64B (64.0Mpx), Omnivision OV8856 (8.0Mpx), and GalaxyCore GC02M1 (2.0Mpx) sensors. They produce great photos with optical stabilization (OIS) and 4K video recording at 60fps. There’s also a selfie camera on the front, Sony IMX596 (20.0Mpx) sensor with an f/2.4 lens, offering decent quality images and videos.

Connectivity-wise, the POCO F4 5G supports Bluetooth 5.2, Dual SIM, NFC, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), GPS (L1+L5), and Infrared. To make sure everything runs smoothly, the device comes with a 3112mm² liquid-cooled VC heat dissipation area. Plus, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for extra security.

For long use without interruption, the POCO F4 5G packs a 4500mAh battery with 67.0W fast charging. It also supports USB-C for faster data transfers.

Overall, the POCO F4 5G is a great mid-range smartphone offering with excellent performance, good cameras, and a large battery capacity. It has all the qualities you’d expect from a POCO device and more. The POCO F4 5G is expected to be released in June 2022, so keep an eye out for it!

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
