Good cell phone for non-complex uses

It is a good cell phone in many aspects, however the updates have harmed the general performance which implies serious problems when using some applications, I recommend it if it is not for playing.

    Decent quality-price mobile

To be honest, I think it's pretty decent for the price, I don't think it's a phone for gaming or heavy tasks, so if you're just looking for something that works and performs for trivial tasks, this is surely a good option.

It would be an excellent option in terms of value for money if it were not for the quality of construction and other details

I've been using this device for less than 2 years, since I bought it, I had the idea of getting to use it for a very considerable time, I didn't think I'd have to change my mobile in a short time because of how fragile it is, not at the level of screen, if not, internally, where very slight falls and small bumps have repercussions on this mobile, such as failures in the power button, fingerprint reader, delays in the touch. In addition, with the latest updates to realme UI (the realme customization layer), I have noticed a decrease in the performance of this device, where background processes are managed in a worse way, the performance in video games is no longer the same, Apps like Instagram tend to have moments of slowness when creating content (recording reels, uploading stories, etc.), when in previous versions of Android and realme UI, the performance was significantly better. If it weren't for those kinds of details, I bet it would have been a much better value for money option for those looking for a cheap and durable 5G phone.

    Value for money

It is an excellent mobile I have been with it for 9 months and I have received android 12 and 13 on the dates that I really announced and its best customization layer without any error after coming from MIUI. It's the best you can find under $200

Updated to UI 4.0 with android 13

Just when I bought it, it updated to android 12 and after 3 months I already have Android 13 with UI 4.0. Now it heats up less, the battery still lasts a long time and the animations are more beautiful and fluid. The best mobile I've had even though I didn't trust mediatek processors but this one has turned out very good.

    excellent mobile

I bought it on October 1, 2022 and on Monday the 3rd it was already updating to android 12 with realme ui 3.0. The sound despite having a single speaker is clear and strong, the quality of calls is good and they hear me well despite having a single microphone. It is very fluid and the system is quite clean and agile. The daytime photos are very good and quite acceptable at night with good artificial lighting. The dimensity 700 doesn't heat up at all and the screen looks great outdoors even though it's not OLED. It is a highly recommended purchase and if you get it on sale like me (it cost me $150) it is an excellent choice. It's my first realme and I don't miss Miui 12.5 at all.

    Pros
    • I love everything, very compliant for its price
    Cons
    • I would like dual speaker or dual microphone.

For me very good device for its cost

I really recommend the device even though I haven't had much with it. The experience has been comforting to what I demand for a personal device according to my tastes. Of course, it will not take long to update to android 12 since the night or early morning of the next day that I bought it, it had arrived. Also if you buy this device from now buy a screen protector as I see slight cracks but otherwise from what I have said everything is fine. Cheers

    • Sound quality in Bluetooth headphones
    • Drums
    • Camera
    • Good gaming performance
    Cons
    • Native device audio
    • Does not have a protective screen
    • It is somewhat susceptible to cracks.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
