A well-balanced phone, but it's a recycled version of the previous generation.

The design is good, especially the back cover, which looks quite nice. However, the teardrop notch and black bezels on the front are rather thick. The screen is quite good; it's AMOLED, simply excellent, and it also has good screen protection, especially considering the price and category. Performance is quite decent—in my case, with the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM configuration, mid-level multitasking is very good, especially with floating apps and split-screen. Apps rarely crash, unless, for example, you're using TikTok (a resource-intensive social media app) and a demanding game. But if the game isn't too demanding, you can easily have music playing or AI assistance, etc. Gestures are good, especially with Fine Lock. Regarding customization, optimization, and so on, Fine Lock is excellent as a replacement for Good Lock on high-end devices. You can download modules that do a lot of things, both functionally and for optimization. Decent cameras, good during the day, meh at night, uses night mode from medium light levels, like indoors, etc. Software is excellent, nothing to complain about.

Good phone for everyday use, good cameras for the price.

The phone boasts some good features, such as a fairly decent processor for its price range, the Exis 1330, which is quite capable compared to others in the same category like the Helio G99, Unisoc, and Dimensity 6000 series. As for the camera, the red sensor is quite good, especially in daylight, which is almost a given for a Samsung phone. The wide-angle lens is decent, but it falls short in low-light environments. The main camera performs well up to a point where the sensor starts to struggle in low light, and so on. It's generally recommended to start using night mode in medium light, for example, indoors. The software is undeniably good; I don't think I need to say much here, it's Samsung, after all. The screen is excellent because, well, it's a good quality AMOLED. The only downsides are the bezels and the teardrop notch, which already looks quite outdated for 2026. The battery life is decent, although the competition is already surpassing it because 5000 mAh is becoming insufficient. With basic use, it can last the day, but with moderately demanding games, in my experience, it really only lasts half a day or at most until the afternoon without needing a charger. The sound is decent, nothing special for its price range, not much to say, I didn't focus on that either. In short, the phone is well-balanced, but the thing is, it's a recycled version of the A16 and A15 generation. The only differences compared to the A16 are the optical video stabilization and a few other optimizations, besides the design, that's it.

    Copy of old models

It has almost the same specifications as older A10 models; it's not a gaming phone and doesn't have the features I expected. It doesn't bother me on a daily basis, but I wouldn't buy another one if this device were to break.

What is a Ki score?
Ki is an automatic score based on the specifications and prices of devices. It is calculated using over 200 variables to rank smartphones, tablets and other devices from best to worst.
How do we calculate the Ki?

In this case, to determine the score we evaluate 5 general aspects:

  • Design and screen
  • Hardware and performance
  • Camera
  • Connectivity
  • Battery

Once these 5 factors have been rated, we introduce the price variable. This means that any two devices with the same ratings get a different Ki score for quality vs price.

Even a device objectively worse than another may have a higher Ki score if it has a better price.

Does the Ki score change?

The Ki varies as time goes by. As new devices with better specifications enter the market the Ki score of older devices will go down, always being compensated of their decrease in price.
